    This topic is mainly about you not going because you have to work on Sunday isnt it Azzy, Its nothing to do with Suzie and Jonnie. If only people were more carefull to plan around your commitments Azz; everyones life would be much better.

    They would have scored on him because the players wouldnt have seen “Luongo” written on his back cause he would have been facing them. If he was wearing a thunder jersey they wouldnt even know who he was when he turned around

    Also realise that a lot of the other juniors in other regions will eventually end up at some sort of University, and odds are that uni will be Otago. So having a NZIHL team based in Dunedin is important. Just look at Rick Parry where would he have played if there was no Dunedin team.

    That was a pretty exciting game to watch and the crowd getting in behind the team was great to see. In case you didnt know it Australia requested a shoot out to determine who won the series which NZ obliged by creaming them 2 nil via Eden & Spiers. It was a great advertisment for the game and hopefully came accross on sky well

    Besides the fact that the thunder have the only dedicated changing room in the League so we need a team to use that.
