Dunedin players in the stampede just didnt work for the reason of travel, ie Dunedin had to travel to Queenstown and 6.5 hrs of travel for practice just aint practical. My opinion is when Dunedins kids (our peewees have been dominating for the last couple of years) come through is when we will see real consistancy at the top. It was never going to happen in the first 4 years unless there is rigourous recruiting done to bring in players from outside the area which requires incentives. Thunder has introduced a whole crop of players to a new level of competition otherwise unavailable and is helping to raise standards all round  To drop the thunder after the first two years would be very shortsighted

though its hard to find a flaw in that logic I say Devils to win. Young, experienced better skills and more depth

He may do but Rhys “penalty box” M seems to spend more time in the naughty boys corner than on the ice

Im gonna say that the Devils are going to take it out this year because they have a stronger roster than the stampede

Its hard to do sarcasm  on a forum. You end up looking like a wump which come to think of it you look like when doing sarcasm in real life but in a different way. The thunder will win 2-0. Now was that sarcasm, optimism or just confusing for the people who dont know if im referring to the scoreline in one game or the number of games the thunder will win

2 what Vince?, 2 nil? , is that the first game or second or……….

The devils winning both games on home ice is hardly out on a limb Vince.

I didnt see to much going on there that doesnt normally go on. Thunder were outplayed by a better skilled team though there juniors were comparable to ours I thought. The score was pretty much as most people thought it would go  though I thought Stefan might have been on P cause he was as aggro as I have ever seen
Chris I dont think a cage fight between you and a 7 year old would get universal approval somehow but im sure if you set it up there would be a minority segment keen to watch
