Dunedin Ice sports owns the rink and plant and runs its business interests. Dunedin Ice sports consists of the three ice clubs, curling, hockey and skating all who have equal representation on the board who governs the rink management. So in effect all ice sports members have ownership of the rink and contribute to the support of the Thunders financals (current losses) Any profit made goes back to the clubs in one form or another (ice time, changing rooms, seating, lighting equipment etc) and any losses have the opposite effect.

Stampede have too much experience and class to lose. Thunder may run one game close but the other may get away on them. It would be a surprise if they won one but it could happen if the Stampede let their guard down

You can cut the head off as low down on the shaft as possible and buy a new head either timber or composite. If its too short you can add a timber extension to the top as well

Good to hear. I presume A strong Queenstown team were not there. Now lets hold it it in Tekapo. for this to happen It needs to be changed at SIHL level.

Lets just make up a tournament and go play in Tekapo cause lets face it we all just wanna lay round the hotpools and drink at the only pub there with hockey on the side. An Otago Vs Canterbury game would be good to watch. Hey I know, lets hold the Erewhon cup there.
