Paul raises issues that are exactly what need to be talked about and this is why we cant go making decisions on anything soon because we currently have no context to make them in or none that I am aware of.

I wasnt able to make it on Monday and I would like to know what decision was made and was Steve Jackson there. We seemed to have missed the whole point of the marketing and branding exercise he mooted and gone straight to wanting to name a team which is ass about faced. What team are we naming for example and what are all the teams called. We dont need an urgent decision on naming a team. We need to come up with the overall concept first. I for one as a board member will be arguing against a decision on monday until more thought and structure are put into the front end of decision making pile. What difference does it make if we dont have new jerseys for the last game of the year. Ive seen many crappy Jerseys and half assed names sink into oblivion which is fine for one-off teams.

Laurie Horo sounnds like a likely maori and if hes not, we can make him one. With a name like that no one is bound to question him. Rane would be a candidate if he went to practice. Could play visiting teams. Id try if my knee would let me.

Having being part of the design team I can tell you that the sound systems are pretty good quality. The problem is the accoustics of the building are abysmal but was something we were prepared to compromise on given we were not paying for the re-cladding of an  energy efficient, accoustic un-friendly ice rink. There are things we can do later to improve accoustics.
Having said that I thought your voice came through clearly.
