I think Hans would be happy if someone were to volunteer to work on it. He is currently working on it now or about to start. Hans works Mon- Wed so give him a ring at the rink. Dont bother asking Neil. By the way its not the cooling tower its the airconditioning unit under the stand. The cooling tower is outside out back.
ActiveMemberMe personally, i think this open critique of refs is healthy, positive and an essential part of being a ref, and besides, I know exactly who to unfairly pick on when Im reffing next. Chris isn’t it, Beasts, yeah! that blue team.
Ive never liked blue!Refs

I dont like Speights OK. Macs or Heniken will be fine
RefActiveMemberI kinda agree with Kyle
When you referee you are always confronted with situations where you have no clue what to rule and its vital if you want to get better,to delve into an inconclusive situation in order to clarify it and rule accordingly next time it happens. Therefore Battered and Bruised, Ive decided that next time you take to the ice and Im reffing, you have to sit out 3.5 minutes of penalty time and I can do this because I have the power not because it is in the rule book. Or you can give me a beer after the game.ActiveMemberThe concrete is 100mm thick and a new ice slab would be 225mm thick above that. But there is no point in building another mini rink. Its not commercially viable and would have limited use and besides theres a very large rink in the building already!. Why would you want another piddly poo one. Stupid idea if I may say so myself.
ActiveMemberNot allowed to break any more glass for a while cause thats the last tall on and yes they cost $1000 each. ( there is an expected break rate) They are currentlly looking at bringing them in from China so no more beaking them until the next boat from china.
ActiveMemberThat would explain all those oncoming weaving cars

ActiveMemberIm thinking nets are the go.
A) They do last a long time and we can double them up if need be
theres no bloody great thumping noise of pucks crashing into walls, Nets go up quick and come down quick, its probably important not to interupt the flow of air into the air conditioning unit with a solid wall, though we could have a smaller wall with bounce back capabilities.
Whatever we, do dont bother with the DCC
they will only hinder and complicate matters. Its best that they are kept out of the picture. Perhaps we could get funding for some windows?ActiveMemberHave you spoken to Neil yet about your plans?
He will need to be put in the picture before any planning gets to far advancedActiveMemberPaul
Im led to believe you represent ice hockey players for no fee as part of your “giving to the community” ideal. All lawyers are like that arn’t they?.
Actually the last time I “needed a Lawyer” I self litigated against ALC and won.ActiveMemberMy last lawyer charged $25 per e-mail so we could also charge them for all these forum postings and we could talk to each other bout silly stuff and get paid for it.
ActiveMemberWe better charge them $350 per hour
