I think you will find Keiths “Ferrari” is a Honda and The Ferrari horse  just happens to look exactly like the National Bank horse and nothing like the Ferrari Logo. Just Keiths sense of humour coming through there

A turning point was when I flattened the defence man in front of their goal off the puck (heh heh!). He was pissed, came hunting for me, incurred a 2min penalty and we scored while they were shorthanded. Theres a moral in that story somewhere though Im not sure of its ethics.
The juniors are improving all the time and I feel the tide of youth will swamp the ebb of the aged pretty soon

I think that if you were born before a certain year ( 30 something years ago) you are not required to wear face protection. I cant remmember what year but all I know is that I qualify. I have mashed my teeth before with a face guard on by been hit from below in an upwards direction

Yeah and if you are over a certain age you are deemed  ugly enough  not  to have to wear any face protection and you can smash up your face if you want to, cause your’e not much good for procreation anyway.
Theres so many advantages to being older.

In the A grade minor finals between the (we was robbed) Stars and the Juniors will be close. Ben Jarvie if he plays will play like crap cause its hard to play good looking over your shoulder, some minor altercations may start with someone calling the other nasty insiduous names like “pussy” , Blake dislocating his shoulder skating into the boards trying to take someone out and Stefan if he plays will score some pretty goals but the overall experience of the stars will come through for a win

In the major final the Bears Canadian firm of  Steve and Mike will control the game from the back with Mike chipping in for a goal and the rest being distributed amongst the remainder of the team after being set up nicely. If James V.L plays it may be close. No one will be attacked, nose picked or eye gouged . A hard fought clean game
The bears to win by 2

Fighting in a game is not about doing damage its about standing your ground, protecting your mana and that of your teamates and not letting others try to own you. In fact you dont even have to fight to to do that you can choose to just be aggressive in holding your ground  or by pushing the opponent away from your space. Its about showing you are not intimidated. Its a blimmin game for gods sake, damaging other people is what you get arrested for

obviously Global warming and pollution of our waterways got nothing on the feminising of our beautifull game. Sue’s got a lot to answer for.

Well we get to play the FYC next week so maybe we can have a big scrap then. We can all keep our gloves and helmets on and hit each other in the chestguards

I was looking down on the game last night and from my perpective and others around me Rhys was being a right pain in the ass to Chris. He knew it too and looked pretty pleased with himself with Chris thrown out of the game and him only sitting in the box, Rhys managed to get Chris to do exactly what he wanted am I right Rhys?. To be a good ref you have to have eyes everywhere and take in huge amounts of information at once and it takes practice and a good ref would have pinged Rhys quite early on last night

The refs in Dunedin are all on a learning curve and no doubt they would have gone home and looked up the rule book to see what they could/should have done and will be better for it. Any body who wants to fire off shots at refs need to to some reffing themselves then they can become experts and then maybe someone will take them seriously
