ModeratorYeah Bryant tied with Nothling……
Vince I know you saw Bryant play no detailed analysis on him??
You distracted by the luscious locks of hair no doubt?Azzy77
ModeratorI don’t know Chinstrap I like Bryants wild untameable locks……
Azzy77
ModeratorYeah I agree with Chris Chelios and Ryan Getzlaf on EVERYTHING

[/quote:1h8907iy]I think Aaron Bryant is an especially handsome goalie…..and he makes some pretty sexual glove saves

ModeratorHow do you quantify being thunders biggest supporter….

[/quote:2wv6q7ws]Just to clarify this comment was a joke comment replying to thirteen questioning how the hat guy would help. It is not a reflection on my opinion of Zaks concentration.
Perhaps the hat guy will block the scoreboard so no one will know how much time if left.
If the game is played in avondale maybe the admirals will use the hat to allow them over the boards better like a step ladder, making them less tired and they will outskate the swarm in the third period, who will be dying of fatigue jumping the boards

ModeratorAre you actually thunder biggest fan?
Azzy77
ModeratorYeah Vince was a red devils goalie about 3 years ago.
Then a stampede goalie
Then a thunder goalie
Now a Red Devil again the circle of life…its so beautiful….When you moving to Auckland Vinny?

ModeratorAhhh the big man on little man penalty…
its not called enough….
a long with the much maligned “I am a slow skater, and that guy fell over therefore you must have done something wrong” penalty
hahah love your call Ryan…

ModeratorJust to clarify I think Zak is still a good goalie, I just think Rick is better by many orders of magnitude…..
Rick also gets bonus points for being really technically sound. (i like that)
Zak is more of the school of Hasek, where I will stop the puck with any part of my body at all costs……still a valid way of stopping the puck.

ModeratorSurely if they got a game misconduct in the last 10 minutes they should sit next game by IIHF rules, regardless of crappy league rules.

ModeratorActually Rick never let in 14 goals in one game, I think you will note the goalies changed in that awful game…..
Also Stats are what you make of them, I think you will probably find over this season Zak has faced almost half the shots Rick has, and is less than a Percent better than him in his save percentage.
If I had to pick a goalie to play for my life, out of the NZIHL it would be Rick.
You also have to rely on accurate stats being kept, I think you will find it varies from scorebox to scorebox what constitutes a shot. Vpatrol will tell you more about that.

[/quote:1v3cpce2]2 of the goalies with the highest save percentage in NZIHL are in CHCH, if you look at the number of shots they have faced its about the same as what Rick faces a game. (thats not a good thing, I am just saying)

ModeratorI wasn’t suggesting there was a need for a suspension. I just thought the league had automatic standdown for a fighting/roughing/fisticuffs penalty.
Thats what we got told.
Personally I am a fan of the fights, but if it is a rule its a rule.

ModeratorLets face it Eaden is the wunderkind of NZ hockey, the Jimmy McAlroy if you will. Who has that many points it is absurd.
What the Stampede need is a Chazz Michael Michaels to combat him. I am sure some like Braden or Hayden would be up to the task.
“Hayden Argyle is Ice Hockey, BOOM!”Seriously I see it coming down to goaltending and I think the Stampede has the wood over Red Devils in that department.

ModeratorNo one asked you to count them Ryan maybe just elaborate on some of the best ones…..
Goalies are prone to memorable embarrassing mistakes, because they are the only mistakes that get put on the scoresheet.
Apart from own goals I suppose but they are awarded to the last offensive player to touch it. -
