I am pretty sure we (hahah I say we as if I am assured of a spot, oops) the premiers would be allowed to play dihl…

Whether they do or not would remain to be seen, with lots of training needed….

    Yeah unfortunately I don’t own one….

I don’t if Sk8 have any in stock at the moment….

I am not likely to purchase one for goalie cam either…
But if the club or Ryan was interested in getting one that permanently had the camera attached to it, then you can easily tie it on to any goalie helmet, making it more versatile then attaching it to a helmet. Cos no one not even goalies like sharing helmets.

See photo if you are not sure what I am talking about

    Or using Jaimees

and attached you camera to the reverse side of that???

Why did you email the NZIHF and SIHl secretaries, they will think we don’t have a clue how to run things properly. The appropriate action would have been to email Joyce, then get her to clarify the times with the NZIHF and SIHL if need be….I hope you only asked them to confirm the times, and not told them off for double booking, because that would be a bad look

This is hardly a double booking, the nationals have to be held over weekends to allow people to travel to play them, and there are a lot of games that need to be played so chances were that we would have to forfeit some of our ice time to get them run, for two weekends, no big deal…. we don’t just assume that Sundays are always on..

And just because you didn’t know about it doesn’t mean that the people who matter don’t… Joyce may have already been aware of this, Jenel may have been aware of this and seeing as she is playing with the women in two weeks I am sure that she at least is aware of the situation that week … Have you asked them?

On another note.. i trained with the Southern Women on Sunday morning and Neil didn’t finish grooming till 10.15 at least, and then then we got promptly booted off the ice at 11.30, for the four people wanting to come on for a public session, the girls had booked an hour and half session….
Then in the afternoon, similar thing didn’t get on till 4.40 kicked off at 6.00…

That is such poor form, people know Zamboning takes more than 0 minutes, so why don’t they just allow for that when booking ice time??

It’s not the premier team though, but the players from the advanced practice which is normally held at 9pm.

    Ryan,

The players who consistently attend the advanced practise, pretty much are the premier team, with few exceptions.

Let the guy sign up for dihl, hes canadian we can’t let him wait four months to play hockey,
from indications on Sunday I am sure there is enough space for him, besides its not like he blatantly just didn’t sign up cos hes lazy like a lotta people, he didn’t know about it….

Goals against me, don’t worry I rarely forget them….

Goal 1: Jacques passes the puck across the net, Zanzee is open on the far side and slots it home (Not my fault)
Goal 2: This is one of those occasions when I forget, sorry if you scored it, I am drawing total blank here, someone help me out
Goal 3: Jacques passes the puck to Mike Sam, who is open, but I was too deep giving Mike a lot of net to shoot  at (3/4 My Fault)
Goal 4: In a Scramble Mike Sam, shoots the puck, I get a Blocker on to it, but cos I am holding my stick too tightly it is angled in towards the net, resulting in a Goal (My Fault)

Goal in OT: Scramble Jacques puts in a shot, low and hard I didn’t get down fast enough (My Fault)

My understanding is if you are coming from inside the zone, you have to cross the blue line on the neutral zone side, with one foot, going onto the line isn’t enough to consider yourself re-onside.

The way I think about it, not that I have to much being stuck in my own little blue area all the time, is which ever side you are approaching you have to cross the far side of the blue line to enter/exit depending on what way you are approaching from

Hence entering you can hang on the blue line, and be fine.
But exiting you have to get a foot back into the neutral zone before you can reenter

    nice batman 1960’s sequence Joe….

You need to make the sound effects bigger though…

With Kyle dropping the puck it almost looks like he tricked everyone including himself into thinking he was still about to drop the puck….

Don’t suppose you got any of the goalie in action do ya?

I tell you what after about the millionth goal I was ready to storm off the ice too, and tell bode to dress someone else cause I just couldn;t get my head in the game, especially after Jacque broke my helmet, It really hurt, I don’t think it hit me physically, it may have….

Who can I get traded to, I see if aubury needs a goalie this weekend…

I just couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t stop anything,  I mean I felt I was in good position, the puck just kept finding holes….

I felt so crap… I mean honestly and I know people were just trying to be nice, but after a game like that I just need time to myself…. not everyone coming up and asking if I am okay…. I don’t care if the D didn’t play very well, when you get a number like 200 gazillion against ya, it doesn’t feel good, I need reflection time, not to be picked up my well-meaning people, it really didn’t help.

    Bode switched the teams  I think, i.e 2 = 1 and 1 = 2 maybe…

Anyway James team won like 200 gazillion to 8 or something, I don’t know I had a blow out of epic proportions….I have never played that badly in my life, Even in my first game there wasn’t that many goals scored against me, and too top it off Jacques who it seems I was running a benefit gig for, scoring like a 199 gazillion of the goals, broke the cage on my helmet with a snap shot from not far out….

There were a few fights but too be honest I had given up caring by that stage and just wanted off the ice…I think Jacques and Ryan O’keefe were involved…..
