Hey joe, there are three phases of light above the hockey rink, normally they only turn on the first set, which is quite dark, when me or toby are playing we normally turn on the second set it helps us goaleis see the puck better, and i think shouldbe fine for photos, but there is even a third phase of lights that needs a key to be turned on, that were installed for the purpose of professional photography or filming on that rink, so just ask them to turn more phases of light on hope that helps

Lesson for the day, don’t try and abbreviate lessons for today otherwise you spread mistruths, powerplay goals don’t effect your +, but if on the other hand you are scored upon in a powerplay situation you get a – minus added, similarly if you are shorthanded and score you will get a plus.

    so in summary
    + shorthanded, even strength goals (this includes 3 0n 3 and 4 0n 4)
    – giving up shorthanded (ie being scored upon by a team a man or two down on you) or even strength goals

Lesson for today Power play goals don’t add to the +/-, so if megan scores five points, but two were in PP situations she would only get +3, thank you for your attention this has been another lesson for today brought to you by the letters I and H and the number 5

You just go to the sky website, and contact sky, then you there is an option to ask sky a question, and select what you want to ask about sport, and then write away, they generally reply within a week, sometimes just a couple of days

Are you kidding me the only way sky would play ice hockey is if they called the iihf “super 14 hockey” and sky would get confused and put it on by accident.

Hmmm send them emails though I do it at least once a year and they always reply like ice hockey is minority sport and well we appreciate you wish to watch no-one else wants to miss the latest installment of salsa dancing, jump rope, scrabble strong man, arm wrestling dominos championships (all btw are frequently on sky sport)

So if we all send them emails they may start to realise there is more than one person who wishes to watch hockey (better write ice hockey in you email again they may get confused)

To be fair to sky though how many cameras were here when womens div IV was here last time so maybe there is no coverage of that

But send them emails, let t be known we want (Ice) hockey on our tv

So is michael doing the stats for last week?
Cos it would be good if I don’t have to do them.

But I can if you need me too, but earliest would be tonight, but let me know, cos if hes doing them will give me one less thing to think about

What you wanna do is download sopcast player from the website.
It is just a client (i don’t know computer speak so don’t hurt me) that allows you access to the p2p network you can just log on as anonymous.

Pretty much if I am bored I just log on and see if there are any nhl channels open, if there are I click on them and roberts your fathers brother.

If you want to be more precise you can go to http://www.myp2p.eu
and check out the schedule to seee what nhl games are on which p2p network,
There are like 10 different networks, but for nhl sopcast is the best.

The major downfall of this program is that since the games are LIVE, thats right LIVE, you sort of have to be able to watch between 10 in the morning to 6 at night. is the major viewing slots.
I find the brodcasts run most smoothly on sundays. But enjoy!

I am telling you miniture ice, built like the curling rink so it can frozen and unfrozen is the only way to fly, well skate, if you want to replicate ice nothing beats ice

Look I am just spitballing here, but what are the logistics of extending the cooling pipes, if they run up there anyway, just a bit and building a mini ice surface up there.
We could maintain it with those we lawnmower thingys the curlers have.
Then instead of simulating ice we would have ice, woopee.
