Wow this really changed fast from dissing Thunder to making fun of punch ups and backhands now to Denny’s. What ever happened to Banana Ice anyways?

Yes, yes I can make judgement. I check this thing on a daily basis and stay in contact with a lot of people who are heavily involved in the club. Plus I was there for the first year of the Thunder and thought on the whole it was well run for the first year along side the DIHA. The other reason is that this is a public forum and I can make any statement I want on this issue no matter how out of left field they are.
…whether people pay attention to what I have to say is another matter lol.

It has not affected the club at all, in fact it has benefited the club and most likely has saved it.
Oh and might I ask, could this be another “Guest” character in the making? Could be, maybe. Who really knows?
I would also like to add that if the SIHL did not accept the bid to put to the NZIHL for Dunedin, then Dunedin would have lost a lot of their quality players to other sports and most likely the club would not be as strong as it is now. If anything, the Thunder have done nothing but make the DIHA a stronger association when it comes to ice hockey in NZ.
For once I must agree with Siffler here. I do know the commitments for the Thunder as I did trial but was ultimately cut for a guy who never showed up. They have a lot on their plates and a few of them are university students. Another way to look at the Thunder is to benefit the league. The younger players who are going to university would have to either travel to Queenstown to play for the Stampede of have no where to play at all. This team allows those players to play at a high caliber level of hockey without paying loads of travel costs or not playing at all.

So all the gate taking are going back to Sky? How does a certain skate sharpener trainee feel about that?
