Yeah I’d like the delay to be a lot shorter to, but I’d also like it to be official. It did help with Aaron up there with me writing the stuff down and most of the time he had the calls before we got the official word. In saying that though, I think it’s better to have it right the first time then to keep having to come back on and correct myself. We did try and get quicker response though from the time keepers, but they had their things to do first.

[/quote:2hblaztv]There was a bit of confussion on those player involved. They just told us that they thought that because this was a “series”, they would shake hands at the conclusion of the “series”. This was told to those Stampede players by some of the Canterbury players. So it was by no means meant to look like poor sportsmanship, even though it did apear that way.
battered_and_bruisedMemberI don’t think I’ve ever heard yelling negative comments to my team from my team. It’s always against the other team or the refs lol. The regular stuff you hear on a bench. And yes I am aware that yelling at refs does nothing but maybe get a bench minor, but it happens and I don’t think it will ever leave any sport.
As for parents, it’s not in hockey much here because it’s a developing sport here and parents don’t really know a lot about the game. However, in Canada it’s really bad, I’ve had personal experiences in which it has happened and it also happens in soccer and rugby back home as well.

That goalie is in the zone man. Not only is he sexy, but he is also an all-star. lol
battered_and_bruisedMemberBand wagon my ass!!!!!! I’m a Sens fan since 1997. I can even recall the game that they won to get into the playoffs. THEY BEAT BUFFALO!!!!!!!! and IT WAS IN OVERTIME!!!!!!!!!!! Then I have been let down by them the many times they ran into those damn Maple Leafs --> Then they come oh so close in 2003…Shall I continue? No cause I have proven myself as a sens fan and not a band wagon jumper!!!!!!! Yes I do agree with the polling of goal horns but the problem is, the games are this weekend and ther is no time to ge them on and ge peoples opinions plus I don’t know how people can listen to them. I’ve narrowed it down to 4 choices. Colorado, the Ottawa Sens 2007 set, Canucks 2006 set, Canucks 2007 set Washington 2007 and Winnipeg Jets. Oh and for all you old timers out there, THERE WILL BE THE BRASS BONANZA!!!!!! Whipping out the old Hartford Whalers theme!!!! BOYA!!!

[/quote:20wvin8a]Your fellow team mate…If you come to the next game, I’ll try a replay for you lol.
battered_and_bruisedMemberI dunno about that one, the last time someone went to give him a hug, the guy got hit from behind and a fight started lol. Personally, you should just harden up Aaron lol. I got some hardening up pills for that (No, they are not the light blue, diamond shaped ones with a “V” on them either). Oh and Joe, there is one picture you didn’t put up, I’ll give you a hint, was during the Easton Cup, and he was pulling off his own version of the Ken Dryben pose. ” title=”Wink” />
battered_and_bruisedMemberAll game times will be at noon New Zealand time. Is it me or does no one else care cause the Sabres are out? Damn Bandwagon people. (I’m not refering to you Steffi Pooh cause you jumped to the winning band wagon.) I’m not to sure who I’m cheering for actually lol. OF COURSE I’M GOING FOR THE SENS!!!!! I’ve being going for them since they got into the playoffs in 1997 and lost in 7 games to those damn freakin Sabres. Long time Sens fan I am. They are my eastern Canadian team. I think it will be Alfy taking the Conn Smythe. This could also be a first in the history of the NHL if the Sens when. A european captain winning the Cup. Never has happened. But it will this year. I will be able to watch games 1-3 but not 4 or 5 cause I’ll be on posting. DAMN THIS VILE SCHOOL!!!!!!! Maybe I should call in sick when the Sens have 3 wins lol.
battered_and_bruisedMemberAnd it is official!!! Don Cherry made the prediction at the start of the season and he is now correct. It will be the Anaheim Ducks vs. the Ottawa Senators fighting for the toughest trophy is all of sports, The Stanley Cup. Starts Monday @ 5pm pacific. (Tuesday for us at noon down here in New Zealand). GO SENS GO!!!!!!
battered_and_bruisedMemberYou are too pretty to be a hamster… your more of a chinchila.
battered_and_bruisedMemberNow here is the real question. Will he get his name on the most prized trophy in all of sports? (It’s also the toughest to win. I ask anyone to challenge that one when you have to play over 100 games of the 2nd toughest sport in the world to win it. Taking bone crunching hits and putting your body in front of 100 mph pieces of frozen rubber, doing that and growing the all mighty playoff beard. Getting all wet just thinking about it)No he will not. Why? BECAUSE THE SENATORS BEAT THE SABRES!!!!!!!!!!!!! I told you that didn’t I Steffi-Pooh? The Sens were able to shut them the hell down and then some. Sure he scored some clutch goals, but in the end he couldn’t clutch it enough lol. Probably doesn’t make sense but what do I care? THE SENS WON!!!!!

battered_and_bruisedMemberSo it is official. The Sabres are out. I feel sorry for all the people who voted for them on this poll. When will people learn that stuff that happens in the regular season means nothing in the playoffs. The Sabres got DOMINATED by the Sens. They were badly out played in every game. The only thing that kept them from being a swept was Ryan Miller. They were out shot every game as well. Lets just hope the hockey gods will shine on Canada this year. They have been getting our hopes up for the last 2 Cup finals then shooting us down in game 7. This season looks like the Cup could finaly come home to Canada and what better way then to have it go to the nation’s capital. GO SENS GO!!!!!
battered_and_bruisedMemberif Wayne said that, then why is this called Mr.T’s motivational quotes and advice?
