I think we need the old Don Cherry suit to be whipped out again Aaron. I think it would be great to see you on national television dressed like that lol.

Can’t we all just get along?

Anyways, sounds like a competitive team. Hopefully they can extend that winning streak into this season.

And a note to Stefan, if you do not score, I will personally come down there and beat you with a broken broom handle, and it won’t be just a cut on the bottom of your foot this time!!!!

    Terrible. Just terrible.

I hate to break it to you Stefan but the Penguins are beating the hell out of the Caps at the moment. Late in the 2nd, it’s already 5-0. Tis a sad day. God I hope the Bruins can win and I won’t be down 0-2 in my predictions.

I know I am gutted about that. I’m fighting back the tears as I write this. It is hard, but lets be honest, you can’t expect to win when you blow leads in 5 out of the 6 games in the series. I made the prediction that who ever won game 5 would win, and the Canucks played like crap the entire series, except game 3 when they kept a lead all the way through the game. So really I have no excuse other then the defence was terrible and the Canucks can’t sit back on 1 or 2 goal leads. Oh well. Stefan don’t worry about that cat jerky…I need to jump on another band wagon now. I’m pulling for the Caps beating the Pens, cause I don’t like the whinny Crosby. Maybe a Bruins against the Blackhawks in the finals. I might pull for that one.

Oh that’s wrong Ryan, very wrong…but funny. I like it. Ask Stefan to do a teriyaki marinade please lol.

You still haven’t told me if/when I win how you will get this cat over to me.

and another update, Carolina just scored in overtime to win and take a 2-1 series lead against the Bruins. Jussi Jokannin scored off a rebound caused by a giveaway in the Bruins end by Chara.

lol if you want to pay for a flight down, then I’ll see what I can do.

Oh and made a mistake, the Pens game was tonight and the Pens did win on overtime. A nice shot from the blue line off a faceoff win. Still 2-1 Washington though and I don’t think the Pens will win game 4.

I agree with Kyle on the Caps getting to the East final, but no farther then that one. It will be the Bruins into the finals from the East.

The west is getting to be interesting. Detroit already down 2-1 in the series and I think the Ducks could pull the upset here riding on Hiller’s goaltending. It’s been done before. Look at the Oilers in 2006. 8th seed knocked off Detroit, San jose and Anaheim only to lose in 7 to the ‘Canes.

Canucks and Blackhawks is a great series so far. The Canucks played a perfect game in game 3 the other night and if they keep that up, they will get to the conference finals. I originally picked a Canucks – Red Wings series, but I’m going to change it to a Canucks Ducks west final with the Canucks taking it in 7 games.

Fleury a playoff goalie? Tom what league are you watching? Just because a team makes it to the finals once doesn’t make him a proven goalie lol. Osgood is a proven goalie, Ward is a proven goalie, Roy, Hasek, Joseph all of these guys are proven playoff goalies. Fleury has to be in the playoffs a little wihile longer to be considered a playoff goalie. I have no doubt in a few years he will be but it’s not right now. Sorry Tom. You lose on that argument.

Oh and the Pens don’t play until tomorrow. If they win game 3, they still won’t win the series…however, if they tie up the series, then I will give them a better chance. If they go down in either game 3 or 4, they will have no chance in preventing them from being knocked out in Washington. Sorry Tom, but you lose that one as well.

lol I only voted once and it was for the Canucks…If I win, how are you going to ship the cat to me?

I must say though, after last nights Canucks win, I’d say their chances of getting to the dance have gotten a lot better. They played a solid defensive game and didn’t take any stupid penalties…not to mention keeping a lead. And after Detroit’s loss, it appears that the Hossa signing isn’t helping them. Goaltending is not that great and Anaheim is playing surprisingly well. As for the Pens, Tom, you really need to wake up and smell to coffee man. They are not going to beat Ovechkin and the Caps. They are way to strong and Varlemov is playing amazing. Ovechkin is OWNING the Penguins right now.

Hey now, you are taking that way out of context. I believe I said that comparing you to Luongo or Roy would be an insult to goaltenders everywhere.

    Well said Aaron well said!
