[/quote:yxrore5j]yes

MemberFor that kind of money there’s no way I’m joining the club this year.
I’m not playing DIHL anyway cause of other commitments, but if I were that way inclined I wouldn’t be paying $170 for 7 games.
[quote:5gjmoqa0]The fact is that people who just play in the DIHL, get many of the benefits of the club.[/quote:5gjmoqa0]
The value of those benefits are nowhere near the cost of the registration fee. They can’t be simply by mathematics. If those benefits were equal to the cost of the registration fee, then those benefits would be the sum and total of the benefits provided by the club. Since the benefits are, by definition, ancillary to the primary benefits of DIHA membership, there mus therefore be a disparity between the value of the ancillary benefits and the cost of registration.
That’s just maths.
Unless, of course, you accept the possibility that socialised benefits can exceed individual value assessments. This, of course, has been shown empirically to be untrue in every situation which it has been tried without a profit incentive, which is clearly lacking here.

[/quote:2kxe2thb]Technically correct, however China pressure international bodies to disallow the name “Republic of China” because they claim it would imply that there are two Chinas.
Taiwan is regularly used by many Taiwanese people to refer to their country, but it too is unable to be used because the Chinese government do not recognise the government of Taiwan as being legitimate.
The PRoC claim that they are the sole legitimate government of Taiwan.

Does it bother anyone else that the Chinese continually pressure international organisations into banning the use of the name “Taiwan” or “the ROC”?

Member[quote:77zm862u]So in my views and in research I think you’ll be more than safe to name names and have no fear of being banned and as for being banned from premises thats next weeks project[/quote:77zm862u]
Ahh, the dangers of the amateur….
You see, once it is proven by the plaintiff that the words used are both capable of bearing a defamatory meaning and do, in fact, carry that meaning to a reasonable man (as well as loss), then the burden of proof falls on the defendant to establish a positive defence.
a) That requires proof
b) That requires money, and lots of it.And when I say money, I mean tens of thousands of dollars. No, I am not kidding.
Now, I don’t think the person in question is likely to give a damn, but if we’re going to talk legal, let’s talk legal.

MemberYeah, http://www.sk8.co.nz is the place to get your gear alright. Don’t buy from the rink, they’re pretty shocking on price and selection.
They can courier it down to you while you’re in dunedin if you know your sizes, which is a pretty cheap and easy option.
If your income is still coming in pounds, then you probably won’t worry too much, but if you’re going to be earning in NZD you’ll notice the pinch fairly quickly
