If the things you’re talking about aren’t structural in nature and don’t pose a serious health and safety risk, then I don’t see why the DCC even need to know, but the best thing to do about the possible planning permission requirements is to call up the DCC and ask.

    Ryan,

On the “About” page, the menu bar is tiled vertically rather than horizontally in IE 6. Is it supposed to be that way, or is that just IE being a pain in the arse?

There seems little point in having any surface at all if it doesn’t allow good training for shooting. If you can’t shoot pucks in your shooting gallery, then it’s just a gallery, and there’s one of those in the octagon already.

I don’t really have a solution unfortunately, but I have checked out some of ryan’s links and I like the look of the Ice Court surface…

    Ok dude,

I was intending to do a shameless plug for the DIHL to some of my Law classes, but I’d better wait until you’ve got all the details finalised :?

Yeah, I figured that’d probably be the case.

    Oh well.

What are our chances of getting some sort of surface samples from these different companies and getting some players together to test and rate them?

After all, 99% of players may like that green, rubbery shit!

Dude, if you are really bored and feel like tearing my code to shreds, please be my guest! That website is a patchwork cloak of code from various spots around the place, and I really want to get a decent understanding of the whole business before designing the websites for a couple of my family’s business ventures.

    So, demolish away, mighty guru! <img decoding=” title=”Tongue” />

Nah, my confusion is more likely due to the fact that my brains have been baking in Central Otago sun for the last few days, and currently have the computational capacity of tepid porridge <img decoding=” title=”Cool” />

    Nice!

Cascading StyleSheets freak me out, which is why mine is as basic as I can get away with! 😆

Sorry, but I’m a little confused.

The Sports Court and Ice Court surfaces are both for use with [b:3tsj6b9h]inline[/b:3tsj6b9h] skates, right?

The plastic-chopping-board-with-lube stuff is the stuff used with [b:3tsj6b9h]ice hockey[/b:3tsj6b9h] skates, and is not really an option, right?

Basically, we are looking at various types of inline surfaces for practise, yeah?

    Chris.

    Hey guys,

I’m currently in Wanaka, probably returning thursday night, but I’d be happy to walk around putting up flyers and whatnot (I have my uses as a mute pack animal). Is friday too late for your poster requirements?

P.S. Ryan, just checked my forum, thanks for the advice about the gallery, I really appreciate advice from the web guru himself!
