Aaron had some thoughts, and mentioned that someone or other has a system in the pipeline for cricket (I think?).

Minor ass-whip I reckon, but a whipping nonetheless. The Devils are my pick to take out the top spot this year, and I doubt the Thunder will be able to stop them. Still, I definitely know which team I’m cheering for!

Once again this comes down to asking people to help. I would happily put posters in the lifts in Sci III (very regularly used lifts at uni) which would drive a fair few spectators to the game.

One thing I forgot to mention is how impressed I was by Tom Wilson’s performance. He seems to be getting plenty of ice time, and the experience he’s getting by going up against strong teams like the Stampede is going to really show itself in the years ahead.
By the time he’s 20, he’ll have nearly 5 years of NZIHL experience behind him, and will be a superstar I reckon
