Sorry Ryan I must have got your e-mail wrong I will try sending it agian. Basically I would recommend the more roller hockey ice surface for training purposes just for the fact that it would feel more like ice then the plastic ice. Now you could not wear your skates on the roller hockey stuff as you know where as you can on the plastic ice surface. So basically if you want to wear skates and do stationary passing and shooting the plastic ice is a good way to go because it will allow you to have a goalie in the net and have the feeling of skates on. If you want to do more moving passing and shooting the other surface is the way to go. Hope that helps a bit. I will try and send my long e-mail again to you. give me your address again.
