Cool find Kyle.
imported_RyanMember[s:13uzvv45]Either a post went missing, or I responded to the wrong one. I was attempting to respond to Cowgirl.[/s:13uzvv45]
Darn it. Definitely wrong post. I’ll move my post over to the correct topic.
imported_RyanMemberSounds like a pretty healthy league.
imported_RyanMemberGreat site. Lots of historical information which is nice to see.
Do you have any plans to add the news from the previous sites? (assuming the old sites had news sections – I can’t remember)
I like looking back over old news sometimes. It’s a handy way to look back and see what happened back in the depths of time. I particularly think it would be handy if the history is kept for the next 50 years or so. Assuming I’m still alive, I’ll try to make sure the DIHA site still has a backlog of news going back that far once we reach the year 2045.
imported_RyanMemberWhat gossip is there on the lineups for 2012? I’m kinda out of the loop on what’s been going on.

[/quote:30zktghw]Oh, sorry, I’m thinking of the NZIHF site again. I was thinking back to when Peter Idoine used to update the NZIHF site religiously after every event with all the latest news. It was a great way to keep track of what was going on in the community. I kinda lost interest in following national stuff after he was dropped from that role. The site was ugly as hell, but that was made up for a billion times over because the content was updated so regularly.
imported_RyanMemberIn related news, the Thunder have blitzed their old site and domain … http://thunder.whatsgood.net.nz/
imported_RyanMemberJust to clarify … I miss the ugly Frontpage site because it was updated incredibly well.
imported_RyanMemberI miss the hideously ugly Frontpage site they used to have.
Do you still want to continue with the plan we had earlier?
Building something useful is probably more effective than whining.
imported_RyanMemberI have a bucket full of Franklin branded NHL T-shirts too. Assortment of XL black and XXL white ones.
Someone should come grab these to hand out as prizes, awards etc. I picked them up dirt cheap many years ago and have been slowly dishing them out when some sort of award was required at a hockey event and these are the left overs.
imported_RyanMemberWho should I give them to?
I don’t have a car now, so preferably someone or somewhere within the inner city or uni. area.
imported_RyanMemberI just discovered a mini-hockey goal I didnt realise I had in my bedroom. It comes with a shooter tutor. Free to a good home.
If you are in Dunedin and want it, please text me on 021-297-2698 when you are in town (I live a block or two from the Octagon) and I’ll let you know if I’m here for you to come pick it up.
If it isn’t taken within the next few days, it’ll be out with the rubbish along with everything else.
imported_RyanMemberIt seems most of it got snatched up before I had time to post it on Trademe lol.
All the stuff above is available though, plus a bunch of non-hockey related stuff … http://www.trademe.co.nz/Members/Listin … er=1361069

imported_RyanMemberThis would be ideal for an ice hockey referee after some more heavy duty padding … http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing … 15&ed=true
It has plastic shell protection, so much more protective against puck impacts than a regular girdle. Has a pocket in the front for stashing a cup too, so no need for a jockstrap.
It was the top of the line Mission girdle back in the day. Served me well, but I don’t play inline hockey anymore and don’t ref at a high enough level to need it for that purpose.
