I don’t think they’re allowed to have 2000 in that main stand due to fire regulations.

The last few crowds I saw at Thunder games were rather pitiful, much less than a packed out crowd in Christchurch would be and from what I’ve heard, most of the Christchurch games were pretty full.

I’m arranging for Eureka to play the game on Thursday at noon in Dunedin, but they want numbers so they can book us in. If you want to tag along just post back and here and I’ll make sure they have enough room for you too.

It took a bit of convincing to get them to agree to play it as they apparently had a stack of basketball players turn up the other week, took up half their seats and didn’t buy anything!

From the outside, it appeared that the 2009 season was severely hampered by the Thunders’ coaching whereas that doesn’t seem likely to be such a disaster for the 2010 season now that James is in charge. Is that possibly one of the reasons?
