Awesome.
imported_RyanMemberWe’re not exactly on a tight time schedule here either. So some time in the next few months would be fine I guess.
imported_RyanMemberI didn’t see the forum topic ” title=”Tongue” />
You could have actually created another WP.com blog for it, then we’d have just needed to export/import it’s contents into the NZIHL one. I didn’t think of that at the time though sorry.
imported_RyanMemberYou should be able to access it now via the following URL .. http://nzihl.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
It’ll also show up in your list of blogs.
imported_RyanMemberI meant I wasn’t sure which. I’ll be more specific next time ” title=”Smiley” />
imported_RyanMemberIt was the email address I needed.
imported_RyanMemberThe email address or username you use on WP.com I think.
imported_RyanMemberSweet. In which case you need access, but I don’t thjink you sent me the details I need to do that yet.
imported_RyanMemberStill keen for assistance with a potential new NZIHL website here if anyone’s keen …. https://slapshot.hellyer.kiwi/index.php?topic=2341.15
imported_RyanMemberDoes that ice vs inline rivalry apply in Auckland too? I know there was a stupid rivalry in Christchurch amongst certain sectors of the hockey community, but I’m not sure if the same applies in Auckland or not.
imported_RyanMemberI’m not sure how ice hockey and inline hockey would work together any better. I like the idea, but am not sure how that would work in a practical sense. Perhaps there might be something which could be done in Auckland, since they have both inline and ice hockey up there. But all of the other centers are heavily biased towards one sport and not the other.
imported_RyanMemberI’m not seeing any bitching either.
Disappointing to hear it was just the AIHL jumping the gun ” title=”Sad” /> Hopefully something can be sorted to make it happen in time for the 2012 season.
imported_RyanMemberInteresting development. I hope the teams can afford the extra expense.
It’ll certainly be interesting to see how the Kiwi teams cope with a level which is reputedly a step above what they’re used to.
[quote:3unhspeq]From the NZIHL, the Botany Swarm and the Southern Stampede … will join the Melbourne Ice (2011 AIHL Minor Premiers) as the first teams[/quote:3unhspeq]
imported_RyanMemberThe IIHF and NHL seem to be trying to keep their rules reasonably well in sync, so I’m guessing whatever the NHL does will be seriously considered by the IIHF too.
imported_RyanMemberI didn’t understand that line inside the goal business. What’s wrong with the existing red line?
Making smaller goals is sensible if it can be done safely. 44″ -> 40″ seems like an annoying amount to shrink it though if it means everyone needs to replace their nets though. 20″ would be nice ” title=”Smiley” /> I guess the goal would risk toppling over if it was that skinny though.
