Unfortunate that it took a major incident for this to be considered. I’d have thought curved glass in that area was a given, or at least glass with a shallow angle. Whoever came up with the idea of a squared of glass edge on a hockey rink needs their head read … or perhaps the impacted their head with the squared off section before making that decision?

I assumed a punch to the head would concuss both equally. Can’t say I’ve ever thought about that too much though.

Nice to hear they got to play with local players to help bolster their lineup. Would have been sad if they’d turned up and weren’t able to compete properly.
