I can do a WordPress theme for you too. I do theming work for other CMS’s, but I’d probably need to be paid for those as WordPress is the only one I know well.
The SitePoint marketplace also has some mega cheap graphic designers if you don’t mind sparing a few hundred dollars. Don’t bother paying for coding services there though as you will likely get shafted if you don’t know much about code (and I’d do it for free anyway).

Well that’s facinating. GMail seems to be labelling a bunch of messages as containing viruses as it transfers them over to the new account.
This topic reminded me about sorting out the DIHL email address. It has been bombarded with spam and I’ve been too lazy to setup proper spam protection. Plus the open source email programs available for it suck big time. So I’ve taken some advice Chris gave me ages back and have setup a GMail account to access it instead.
GMail has far better spam protection and it removes all of the data from my webhost which is slowly getting cluttered up with mail. If sending bulk emails is a pain on GMail (I haven’t tried) then you can still send the occasional one from the regular interface at http://dunedinicehockey.hellyer.kiwi/webmail/ which shouldn’t have any problems handling the load unless you send 1000+ emails at once.
The username is ‘thedihl’ and the password is the same as the regular DIHL account. All mail sent from that GMail account will look just like they were sent from dihl@dunedinicehockey.hellyer.kiwi. It will behave 100% identical to the original account, except that it now uses the GMail interface. If you already use GMail you could set your own account up to do this, although it would be a good idea to set your account to leave the original mail on the server so that it will eventually make it’s way to the ‘thedihl’ account.

Proposals will only help if they are followed. Kara submitted a proposal along with me last year and that was ignored.
There already is a fairly set method for running the DIHL in the DIHA rule book. Much of that was ignored by Kara and Larry last year, so I can’t see that adding to the stack of instructions will help at all.
WTF? Why the hell would anyone throw those on to an ice rink? They cost a bloody fortune, not to mention the chafing issues you get when you scratch them with an ice skate.

I remember watching this movie with my cousin Chris when it first came out on VHS in Alexandra . Him and his mate Andre started playing hockey back in the 80’s on the Manorburn dam. I’m not sure if the movie inspired them to play, or if they were already playing at the time, but my cousin ended up on the Ice Blacks, Andre is still playing hockey to this day and all of Andre’s younger brothers either ended managing ice rinks or playing for the Ice Blacks.
I’m not sure where I’m going with this … it seemed like an interesting tale before I started typing it …
