Er, so you played at the rink at 3pm and went to George St at 3:30pm? … http://www.dunedinicehockey.hellyer.kiwi/forum/index.php?topic=1239.0%5B/url:2nrkmbcc%5D

Welcome to the forum Kleer!

Yeah, I don’t remember bumping shoulders with you either. I do think I tripped on something though. Perhaps it was your foot? I know something spun me around a bit and my stick did something weird, my arm followed and just before I hit the ground my arm was pointing upwards, but outwards so just popped out of the socket on impact. It didn’t feel very pleasant :'( :'( :'(

Ah, now it makes sense. I thought Mark was referring to me [b:38dhinxq]clear[/b:38dhinxq]ly tripping while fighting for something.

So this really confused me coz I didn’t understand what Clear meant!

But as Chris kindly pointed out, I was on psychotropic drugs when those comments were posted, so that may explain my lack of understanding

I think there’s something Freudian going on there.

Does anyone know what happened when I did it?
Arm is back in socket now, but I don’t feel too good

Those skating treadmills cost about $150,000.

There’s a bunch of stuff Bode and I went shopping for earlier this season which she normally uses for hockey training. But they weren’t available here. Wiffle balls were one of them – whatever they may be. So I’m assuming she’ll be bringing some of that stuff back with her next time. I’m sure she can fit a $150,000 treadmill in her carry ons too

Bears team is full too.

I’m still waiting for team entries though. Callan’s is the only one so far.

If you see Stefan first, and he wants them, just pass them straight on to him. Or use them on Saturday!

I gave some to Callan Wood a while ago, Bauer Vapor Hi-Lo’s, size 10 I think.

If Callan isn’t coming then I’ll ask him to give them to you instead. I think he’s heading away for the summer too, in which case I’ll get him to leave them here for you if you want them. They’re for sale too, not sure how much, but probably not a lot.

Fee is paid.

And count me in, I’m always keen for some inline hockey. Although I still think that either George St school or Kavanagh are better spots, but we’ll see. I’ve never played a proper game by the rink so hopefully you’ll prove me wrong

There’s now a game on October 31st vs a team being formed by Callan McLaughlin. I think the team is pretty much going to be the Jets DIHL team, but I’m not certain.

YEAHH, that’s why I didn’t get that backhander in during our last encounter! It had nothing to do with a lack of skill at all

Cool, thanks Kyle.
There’s a bunch from the beginners practice that want to play apparently.

I wonder if the non-Bears peewees and their parents could form a team? They’d probably be a good match for us if they had you and Larry playing out.

Ryan,

in reply to: Bears vs The World #7356

This is in reply to a question Tom asked me about the Sharks competing.

Yep, the Sharks can of course play. The tricky thing though is that you’ll need someone to organise the team. All that you need to do is make sure everyone turns up and if they don’t they’ll need to front up with whatever they’re short by themselves. Feel free to volunteer The Sharks are quite strong though, so losing some of your best players would be a good idea or you’ll stomp on us like a bug.

Ryan,

in reply to: Bears vs The World #7354

I’m after TEAMS, not players. Otherwise I end up stuck organising two teams which I don’t plan to do. Thanks for offering though

cheers,
Ryan

PS: I’ve edited my original post to make this clearer.
