Ok, so it seems not only was I the target in the game, i have also become the target in the forum

Mr. Bradfield, when you say, why does the beasts have problems with other teams, do you mean Kings? Cuz i sure find it hard to remmeber when we had troubles with any other teams…. and if so, I would suggest please getting all the facts right before accusing me. You know me personally b4 i left jonnies, or would you really take the words of a school that had a student teacher that came out and punched me at the end of the game?
I’m very proud at how far the hockey team has come at McGlashan, but almost all of you know how little tolerance i have in people that are racist. I enjoy a fast paced and well played game, but enduring personal slandering is not part of it.
My team is not perfect and it has its shair of hot head, and I can honestly say that i did my best to keep them from causing trouble in a game that invited it. I’m not perfect either, i also can get caught up in the heat of the moment, but I’m learning and trying to improve.
But to be honest, at the end of the day, even if none of this nonesense had occured, I believe you guys would have still won the game. You guys have fast skaters, strong back lines and a decent shot spread accross the team. Although i wasn’t involved in the hockey scene when i was at school Dwayne, trust me, I know they have come a long way.

I play in both grades because i can, easy as that.
Toughen up? You do realise the game was non contact right? Your goalie drop the stick and head butted one of my players that doesn’t even have full gear on? Was that to please the crowd as well? Notice how not one player on my team even made a single counter check? I can tell you its not because we’re not able to, but we’re trying to play by the rules.
But, at the end of the day, you guys won. Hats off to your players that played fairly.
p.s. what does the fact that I play in the As have ne thing to do with this?
A note on last nights B grade Final.
Just to make it clear at the start, I do think John McGlashan has a good team, I mean they have played and practiced together for a lot more then most of the teams in the DIHL B grade, thus they are in essence a very good team.
However, I was more then dissapointed in the way they choose to play the game last night.
The amount racial abuse hurled from the bench by players was totally unacceptible, the fact that there was a teacher on their team yet their behaviour is still so bad….. yea….. More then that, even in the game it self, the captains and assistants of my team were constant targets in either bad checks, tripping or hooking.Maybe the standards at McGlashan has changed, cuz when I went there, fair play was certainlly more important the winning by playing like morons.
A couple of phones belonging to players on my team (Jason Sedgwick and Rob Owens) has been stolen.
It is believed to have been stolen some time on wednesday night between the end of the 2nd match and the end of the third. If any one have any information on the where abouts of the phone, please contact me or the forum admin.

The C’s and A’s can be quite easily produced from stick tape prior the game, maybe an e-mail out to the managers of each team informing them to do so is in order?
I would like to say a big thank you for my team, one moment i was down on the ice from an unexpected hit, the next, half my team has literally piled on top of the player….. hmmm, how would Mark Dudley put this to words….ahh, I love you all!!! and I have eggs for breakfast!
