Website is poo this year, i thought we were trying to raise the profile of the league not look like a league that has been liquefied….
We really need to develop a better feeding league in chch not sure how the other centers senior leagues are but chch is horrible
As for officials, we need a lot more, and no female ones in the nzihl too. You should’ve also put in the need to re-train existing NZIHL refs i.e *PAUL SCOTT*
Another couple of things is:
Salaries – if any
Travel costs and accommodation
Getting the douche at chch rink to give ice hockey first priority (net worth 250k to him already)
Player quality – we could have 1 maybe 2 in the AIHL, (NORTH AND SOUTH) but 5… come on get a grip. maybe 2 teams play AIHL and then NZIHL still keeps going(once player depth had been met)

But i was disgusted that the other refs were not intervening in the fight because she was really really struggling
I dont think any 5 foot 4 women trying to separate two 6 ft men from fighting would be successful (unless nudity was involved), why do it in ice hockey?
brutal reffing in auckland first game 2nd game a lot more controlled, a women linesman trying to break up a fight is a pathetic sight to see The male linesman had Oak’s hands controlled but the female ref couldnt control the other guy and so oak got punched a few more times in the visor for his troubles, whats worse is the old guy reffing was standing there like a knob just watching his colleague struggling to do her job.
she has no business being out there, skating was shocking, line calls were too, obvious icings waved off and calling when it had been waved off. NO FEMALE REFS IN NZIHL.
thunder need to learn the shootout rules, premature celebrations when there was still one shooter to go from the devils is so brutal, makes this league look like a gong show!
