Hey, never mind the swarm, what’s the 411 on the Cadbury Cup Video? I want to see the clip of that guy hitting me at the blue line.

Hey I thought the old Bastards were looking pretty sharp last night.  I think the Young B*itches will have to bring their A game if they want to beat us.

There was some talk of trades and migration between the teams but I really want to play AGAINST Wick Nasty.  He’s been on all my team all-season and I think he needs to learn a thing or two about respect. And holding his booze.  And how to grow a proper beard. And anyway I’m an Old Bastard at heart (and body).  Also, something most people don’t know, but I’m Wick Nasty’s half-dad.  Kid needs to show some respect.

I love you son, good luck this weekend, you’ll need it.

I think we should dare Queenstown to Ghost ride down Mt John in Tekapo.

Larry, you don’t really want my Easton Synergy.  I find the only way I can get a good shot out of it is to really get on top off it and put all my weight into it.  It took me a couple of months to even get a decent shot out of it.  I think nothing beats a mid-range wood stick for most people.  Also I think Harry has claimed dibs on it.  He tried it out last night and it took him a few shots to get an idea of just how demanding of a stick it is.  My next stick will be a little flexier.

Have fun at the rally, I can’t believethat the two things I most wanted to do in New Zealand are on the same weekend. I’ll just have to come back

    Michael,
I have two different pairs you can choose from, some eastons and some ccm s.  Catch me next week and you can pick which ones you like.
I won’t need them after Tuesday.

The car is sold, dropping it off tomorrow.  Trademe was FAST.  listed it this morning and had a Buynow by lunch time.

The Easton Synergy will be listed next week. I’m unloading all of my gear, I have too much luggage and it’s time to let it go.

If you need anything REALLY cheap (and a bit wiffy I might add) let me know.

I’m planning to keep my skates but if anyone needs some skates I could be pursuaded to part ways.  There are some First class hockey shops in Vancouver and it’s easy to get another set of Grafs — incredible skates.

It will be hard to do but I’m thinking of letting my Blue Cooper Hockey pants spend the rest of their days in Beautiful Dunedin.  So if you ever wanted to get into my pants, here’s your chance.  Aaron?

We can’t buy Caldinas in North America. In fact, I had never heard of them before I came to New Zealand.

We planned on selling or giving away our sticks when we left.  They’re a pain to travel with and heaps less money in Canada.  I’m only taking my skates back with me and maybe my ancient gloves.  I’ll probably list it all here for super cheap next week. On the other hand, I wish we could take the car back with us as it’s so cheap compared to what the equivalent will cost in Canada.

Somebody needs to buy the Hockey-Mobile.  It even comes pre-scented with a titch of the hockey bag smell. Just the thing to keep you awake on early drives to Naseby for some outdoor pond hockey.

My son Paul is traveling with me, so count me as 2 people.
Does that mean we’re back to 9?
And do we have a goalie?

    1 more thing.

Drunk.  No protection.  A room full of hockey players. I hope he knows what he’s doing.

leftright means we are playing/scrimmaging  Thursday night in Dunedin at practice.  Bode has asked us more experienced players to go easy on the younger more tender players.  I don’t know if I can do that.

I heard to play on the old bastards a mustache is mandatory.

Mt John, just above Lake Tepako, has a beautiful view.
