This whole new stadium thing is pretty awesome. Will be like we’re superstars when we are stumbling around the ice!
Is anything going to happen to the big concrete stand thing?
I like azzy’s idea of putting “the curlers in a wee rectangular box and build seats on top of them”. Classic line! On the topic of curlers, wont having it in Naseby be a bit of an issue considering there is basically no spectator area for more than about 50 people?

??? Things have gotten confusing again! Lets get it straight.

At the moment (lets not live in the past) there is a social game every Saturday night at 7:30pm. It cost’s $10, which someone will collect off all the players at some stage at the game. The game will probably go for about an hour, or until someone kicks us off the ice.

    Is this about right?

Yeah the 7.30 session has started back up on a Saturday night, basically anyone can turn up but I’m hoping to have it moved back to Sunday where most of us are more likely to make it.

Awesome. So its an hour game? What do I pay and to who if I can make it?

The Beasts are usually looking for teams to play. Just form a team and contact Mark Hareb, I’m sure he’ll be happy to play another random team.

Yeah I’m looking more for a social scrimmage type of thing where i can come whenever i have the opportunity (very busy ya see!). Unless someone sets a time and maybe i could then join a team…..

I talked to the lady who always does the scoring (Jacqui?) and she was mentioning something about a saturday or Sunday night game that happens. Any info on that?

Should be a good game, Phantoms are gonna flick the switch this game!! As long as we can beat big Toby in goal!

Might see if we can send someone to find that switch before the game and make sure its duct taped off! In fact we’ll be looking for the fuse box. That way by the time you’ve found some fuse and gone and repaired it, we will hopefully have a advantage!

I agree it should be a good game . Stoaked we have Toby in goal. Its awesome knowing we have a goalie before skating onto the ice actually. But to get one that good makes for many smiles.

I really hope this is the first week you pick out game right! But thanks, your so very kind!
Oh and Steve and I have been one D line this year, the other has been Blake and Matt. Not sure who Stevenson is, but he’s not playing D!

Nick isn’t much bigger than a large fly, lucky she didn’t bite him. Could you imagine how much he would complain if it did bite him though!?!
Surely the hygiene situation of most his climbing gear would attract many a fly. Could i suggest you get him to just leave his shoes near your plant to act as a fly magnet/ready supply of flys?

    Speaking of goalies.

Bode is away next Monday so powerskating won’t be powerskating, it’ll be a pickup game.

will this be open for all to come along, or just for the powerskater people?

Any chance someone has some old crappy pucks hanging around in a cupboard or something, that could be let down there for those of us with no such resource?

so what’s the process of being able to use this thing? We just turn up at the rink anytime we want and say we are here to use the shooting gallery and go and use it, or do we need a key or something?

but then we wouldn’t make any money for the club. Or would we have a 50/50 weighting or somethign going on? I guess it depends on what the aim of the event is really.

if he did, the only stipulation would be that we all have to grow chuck norris beards. Sorry Steffi-Pooh your out man…unless we draw on the facial hair lol. Me and Blake are already going pretty good with our beards.

Having beards would be fantastic. But would we have to dye them ginga like his too? But as im all for accepting people for who they are (I think diversity of beard colour is an important issue facing this dark world) maybe this should not be a requirement. Mind you if Chuck says we have to, who can argue with him?

I think after the puck bounced back out Steve or someone shot the rebound from right in front, which you saved (well done). I think it was when it ended up next to the left goal post, but everyone thought you were sitting on it until it was seen my the post. Then there was a bit of an attempt by everyone to push it in past your pad, or push us out the way! I THINK that was when it happened. But i was probably busy making sure one of their offense guys didn’t try to pull a sneaky seagull move, or something else strategic and important (probably more likely to be falling over somewhere!.

Goal cam would be amazing. (Its only a few steps away from a fog horn and anthems!) Probably cost more than $5-10 a game to install that though!
