Wellington has in built problems I have have two meetings with Kerry Penetgust s and right of renewaklhe was all for it.
There is a problem in Wellington as you can not get a long lease anywhere.
All the landowners seem to think the next year they will get some big paying government client so the best at three years is stupid for an ice skate rink as this needs a long term lease.
WELLINGTON is also short on space and the wharf area is another one of hot
topic I have met with several people who operate in that area.
That canoe guy Ferguson owns a roller blade thing on the water front he is dead against some one coming into his space. He is also a wanker to boot.
I have had talks with heeps of property developers in Wellington, even though I am a Dunedin person and have never lived in Wellington I was interested in seeing a rink up there as my daughter lives there.
So at the moment I am talking with ICE WORLD as they wish to establish a rink here, they are a Dutch company who have own rinks all over the world about 230 of them.
You may not know there is over 600 ice skating rinks in the USA alone this is official from ICE SKATE AMERICA as I have also been intouch with them to see if they will help.
Albertown as this rink cant attract enough customer I am closing it it will become a garden bar for the pub but still look like a skating rink dassher boards and all sorry, Wanaka people did not support it.

SEE the othermasters forum as I listed the topic there.
Master is about new friends fun party all week.
I have been in it since it started 21 years ago.
I played in the first ice hockey team at the Big Chill years ago and Tekapo won over Alexandra, Queenstown Christchurch and Dunedin I think that was in 1989 how many of you remember that game? ha ha
    We got third.
Ok shape up look old play too and most important have fun it is not a serious game but playing in a team that is even in skill is a good start.

Hay cut out the crap I am 62 thats not old.
It is the young guys these days that are wusses
The teams should be random as the masters is about fun not the olympic games.
I have been at the rink each day for figure skating practice for the masters and this is also fun.
Masters is not a kill or be killed thing it is getting drunk dancing meeting beautiful blonds from where ever.
They don’t check your birth certificate so if you grey your hair with axel grease you with make the team.

Yeap guys active is correct a three cylinder honda with national bank horse in fact it is nothing like a Ferrari badge, the funny thing is that people stop me in cars parks some go real mad about it and they are the ones who could never afford the badge let alone the car.Often telling me they know the badge but in fact they do not.I make little cars 1/2 scale and if anyone wants to see my collection you are welcome.

Hay one other thing you share the drenching with a parking meter attendent who got wetter as it was a bigger bucket, they the DCC called the cops but water is a natural product so they could not do anything. Next time I might use super glue as I am an agent for this in industrial form, they might have to sleep on their motor bike., who knows

ps a heat pump just blows wet hot air (humidity) that is the cause of mold, I have one too you need a different system of drying.  DO NOT USE THE MICROWAVE either We used to get wet skates on Manoburn all the time and they dry out skating is often a wet sport if you have skated on Queenstown sometimes there is 100 mm water same at Ohau. The mold is caused by the drying system, or sometimes sweat which is acidic.
They are after all on water sometimes frozen too.

1st Gives everyone something to talk about on or off the ice.
a clean way to a new start washed down with clean water.
second puting crap on the chat and signing it my work with my name when it is not is not only illegal.but a way of getting at me, off the ice is not on either.
Basically as such a hot team with heeps to say I thought it might cool you down and help you play better at the end.

    Hi guys,
There is extreme skating in the usa now.
all this pc has made me take a double take as other people on bikes, skis pedals, water sport do such moves but skating including figures it is dangerous.
not to talk about fire hoops.
The surface is the rink ice the jump I made is synthetic and about 2 meters long. Neil is ok with doing it on the ice, at the rink.
I was awaiting someone to contact me but all we have is chit chat.
I had contacted the Olympic group headed by Eion Egar and tried to do a gala but they have been on again off again so I lost interest untill now.
We can try to get this kicked off.
LOOK UP EXTREME SKATING IN THE USA.
I have been intouch with that guy and talked on the phone some months ago.
The idea still needs to be developed and as suggested ideas, saftey and future needs to be drawn up.
    Cheers
    Keith Dickson
The group would be used for ice shows of which we have at our own rink and in the other centers.
