Note: “The games will attract an estimated 25,000 spectators to witness special effects with the tour being lead by Colorado Avalanche defender Kyle Quincey. Kyle has played more than 500 games in the NHL and is considered one of the best in the business.”

    Here’s Quincey’s wikipedia page: 185 NHL games. 11 goals, 58 assists.

I have my ways. I guess it would save on airfares if you didn’t have to bring most of them in.

They’ve started trying to recruit NZIHL imports to fill the teams.

I’ve had that before on various computers as well, but I never tried to isolate the problem. Maybe try a different machine?

there’s no draws in IIHF tournaments. Overtime followed by shootout, so best you can do if you don’t score is one point.

8 goals off 98 shots is pretty good for 2 games. 3 of those came in their first period when the team wasn’t firing.

Both goalies clearly did very well. I’d imagine picking the goalie to play vs AUS would have been hard, but it probably wouldn’t matter, if the team doesn’t score a goal, no goalie is going to win it for you.

The web cast must be delayed a bit. he was announcing australia’s 4th goal and it was already up on the iihf web site – take at least 30 seconds for the referee to give that to the scorebox and for them to get it in the computer.

only one team goes up. There’s a whole nother pool running in Europe with another promoted and relegated team.

the first tie breaker is decided between points, and then for/against from games between the tie-broke teams – so only three games count between serbia, belgium, and nz.

5-0 final score. Second shut out for Parry off 16 shots, that’s a pretty fantastic tournament for him.

NZ put 39 shots on Mexico. Eaden, Wannamaker, Spiers, Cox and Heyd get the goals.

    Go Aussies!

ice blacks australia just on TV3 sports news.

Currently 2-0 up on Mexico, Eaden and Wannamaker scored goals.

6? Doesn’t matter how much they score, they just need to win and hope Australia beat Serbia.
