Unsportsmanlike conduct. 550 f (3). “While on or off the ice or anywhere in the rink before, during of after the game makes any obscene gesture to any official or any person.”
Match Penalty.
I’ve given a player a match penalty for a similar gesture, though they made it to an official not another player.
Also: Ducks were fools to trade Wisnewski. Damn good D to give away when they’d lost Pronger and Neidermeyer over the past season.

Be good for people to promote this and watch it. If it gets good viewer numbers (can Sky tell what each box is watching at a particular time?) then it’s more likely they’ll see a market and get more of it, and also look favourably on our local games getting on.

Whether or not it will eventuate and has great value remains to be seen, but they’re looking at a three game series Auckland – Christchurch – Dunedin. Late July/early August. Former NHL players and up-and-coming players is what they’re talking about.
(That’s my: I know more than you update).It would be three weeks before the NZ Winter games which is 17 – 21 August, 4 Pacific rim teams, also in Dunedin. Certainly keep the 17th – 21st August free that’ll be half a dozen great games of hockey.

Just finished the hardest game so far?. Beat NSW 4:3. Scoring went 1:0 to NSW after a minute; 1:1; then 2:1 and 3: 1 to NSW, we then scored 3 unanswered goals to keep the winning run alive! Great performance ? goals (I think in proper order) went Randell, Kennedy, Ellis and Burns to win it!
They’ve also just had their nationals and done live scoring onhttp://www.nzinline.hockeysyte.com/. Scores, goals, penalties updated on the fly. Good stuff.

Sound problems apparently, though who knows how that works.

Actually the nzihf site has gotten a lot better this year. For a long time last year the latest piece of news was ‘Chris Eaden scores over time goal to beat Greece’. Never got around to mentioning that the Ice Blacks won the 3rd division.
This year it’s been much more up-to-date. Squad announcements etc have appeared on the web site.
