MemberThey won the second game, not sure of the score.
Kyle
MemberDone.
We’ve got Canterbury in Queenstown and a local derby in Auckland, Thunder have the bye.
I think Stampede will split with Red Devils, Swarm will beat admirals both times.
Kyle
MemberSo that puts Red Devils at the top of the table, Thunder second? Though both teams have yet to have a bye, the other three teams have already had theirs.
Even season so far, all the teams are still well in it. Great stuff.

[/quote:g5klyrd7]The club has a pile of them. We’d like to put something more decent in the hands of the beginners.

MemberI think Thunder will split with admirals. Swarm will win both.

MemberI spoke to Darrin today. The web site is pretty much up to date. I believe the store closed a while ago, he’s just selling off the remaining stock.
I’ve always found SK8 good to deal with, never had problems with giving them my credit card info.
Sadly the club needs right handed senior sticks, not left handed, otherwise we’d buy up.

MemberBe better if tennis courts had rounded corners.

MemberLast goal was a bit of a heart breaker. D gave up the puck to Chris Eaden in their own zone, and he’s too good for that.
Great effort for Thunder to come back from 5-3 down, and to beat off two 3 on 5s in the third without giving up a goal. Good close weekend of ice hockey all around.

MemberAny better info on the Dunedin game?
Kyle
MemberAs a footnote. In the club’s discussion with Walter we agreed that skaters who turn up and borrow club gear for sunday night drop in will be charged $5 gear hire.
Drop in hockey isn’t a club activity, but it’s run on the back of a club owned rink and for some attendees, club owned gear, the club would like to get a little money back for wear and tear on club gear used.

MemberI thougth Aston played better than a certain NHL goalie who let in a pretty weak ass goal a couple of hours ago.
Seriously, where’s my triple overtime game 7? Keep your legs closed!
Kyle
MemberA second group of kids was caught yesterday. Police are dealing with them. Rink is going to install some spotlights out the front.
