Swarm beat Admirals 4-2 in Auckland.
KyleMemberCanterbury beat Stampede 3-1 this evening.
KyleMemberHey, I’m like 15/16 on the season Vince, leave me to my fun!

[/quote:35l3sk3b]5/6 last weekend for me (no OT win for the U16s – they won in regulation, but I’m still taking that as a correct pick).
This weekend – Canterbury at home to Stampede, and Admirals take on Swarm.
Canterbury/Stampede to split, Swarm to win both against Admirals, but one will be close.
KyleMemberFor Thunder? Parry – though apparently he’s in hospital tonight with broken ribs or something. And Mat Enright has a dislocated shoulder or something.
Or if you mean U16s – Hubbard. Pulled a groin in the 2nd last night but lasted all game today.
Swarm beat thunder 12-3 up in botany.
Stampede beat Admirals 9-8 in Queenstown. Crazy game, Admirals were ahead and then let in five goals off five shots over about 4 minutes in the 2nd. Then got back in front scoring twice on a 5 on 3, then trading goals, then stampede scored the last two.
Neither goalie had a good game, but I’m very suprised that Admirals didn’t changing goalies after 2 or 3 of the 5 goal rush. None were particularly his fault – in fact some he was screwed by his defense – but he was clearly demoralised by the sequence.
KyleMemberSouthern U16s beat Auckland U13s 5-2. Good game, was 2-1 to Southern with 4 minutes to go.
Auckland coach lucky not to miss the end of the game for some of the things he said about the referee.
KyleMemberSwarm beat Thunder 9-3 in the end.
Auckland U16s beat Southern U16s by… 9-4 I think yesterday too.
KyleMemberStampede beat admirals tonight… 9-4 I think.
I also heard that Thunder lost to swarm 6-2, but that’s unconfirmed.

KyleMemberI believe that the idea is that it was supposed to be done 2 – 3 weeks ago, but obviously got delayed, as web sites tend to do.
KyleMemberMy statement was confusing? You started it:

[/quote:1qjfenmj]KyleMemberVince called me checking a Canterbury player who decided to drop the puck in my feet yesterday. Do I get a point for that?
KyleMember"vpatrol":8wkkr8ee wrote:yet Canterbury fielded more different players in the shootout then dunedin. Funny that.
[/quote:8wkkr8ee]Though also to be fair, Damian Watson was injured on the Saturday and didn’t play on the Sunday, and JP Bertrand was in a sling by shootout on Sunday I think. Those would have been two that the coach would have had at the top of his list come shootout time I’d imagine.
The eventual winner – Saeed – hit metal on his two first shots – one just a glance, the other he got a lot of it. Third time lucky?
Fantastic game, but I only had a babysitter until 6pm so if y’all can move things along next time, cheers.
KyleMemberNew site coming this week it says on the site. I know the designer was crazy busy this weekend filming in Christchurch and Dunedin, but hopefully it’s up soon.
KyleMemberNext week, Stampede to win the double at home against Admirals. Thunder to split with Swarm.
JELs are in Qtown vs Auckland. That’s going to be damn hard, but I think they’ll get up in OT in one of the games.
