Heh. It’s probably not the gapyear.com people that supplied the photos. I’d imagine whoever supplied the position – Auckland Ice Hockey maybe? – ripped them off your site. I think the NZIHF linked to the photos pages here, which is probably how they found them, and like us, thought they were pretty good quality.

I don’t think anyone should expect the rules as set out to change. Erewhon Cup is.. 70 years old this year? It would take substantial effort to change it, and certainly the hosts aren’t going to do that 16 days out from the event.
It’ll technically be centre ice contact, and then in the finals, full contact.
And in reality, I suspect there’ll be almost no contact.

Yeah, typically people take it between high school and university or something. They go overseas and work for a summer in ski fields or summer camps or whatnot.
We really need the stadium to go to a system where you can look up bookings online. This happens too often, it’s not good enough.

I’m not sure if anyone was informed of this last week, but there’ll be no Sunday social hockey tonight, due to the Auckland games being on. I would presume however that it’ll be on again next week.
I got confirmation from Joyce last night that midgets house league isn’t on this Saturday. She got that from Tracy.
I presume that Ryan is talking about the Sunday SIHL games between Dunedin and Queenstown. Either way I’m happy with the confirmation that I’ve got.
There’s a rumour going around that Queenstown SNC aren’t coming either, but currently that’s just a rumour.

Hey Ryan,
Can you confirm if the midgets house league game is on this Saturday? I was getting the impression that it was cancelled from now on from lack of numbers, but I wasn’t sure, and no one that I’ve spoken to so far seems to have a definitive answer.
If it’s cancelled I’ll move these games forward to 6.30, if it’s still on then they’ll stay at 7.30.
I spoke to Joe last night, and he and Paul are on the Saturday team. Sunday is already full, just looking for one more person for Saturday.
