Can I suggest if you want to debate the IIHF rules that you start a new topic, this is for those wanting to play in a checking series, potential people may not want to read though all of the above and may miss out if they dont
Basically anybody is allowed to play, Unfortunately at this stage its only for males as my understanding of the rules in Dunedin females are not allowed to play checking above the midget level otherwise the committee will have to make a change. But I could be completely wrong there.
I would also suggest you are at least 16 years of age and over due to the size etc of some of the players already playing.
Does anybody know where can I get an electronic copy of the advertising for this weekends game, so I can email it out to work etc to try and get people down to watch?
Hi yes Ryan is right their seems to be a lack of interest from players this year compared to other years.
There will be a meeting on Monday 18th May at 8.30 at the Dunedin Rink for all players who are interested in playing SNC in the SIHL to decide if there is enough interest or whether Dunedin will pull out of the competition completely.
So if you want to play make sure you come so your opinion can be heard.The beasts are planning on entering a team but prob need a few more players currently have about 8 do you know a few people who want to play with us.

I know this is short notice but are they any players out there who want play in Naseby tomorrow morning for the beasts we are in need of 2 players and a goalie, or 3 players.
They will need to be able to find there way there.
Or any of the other players, ie southern woman or Dunedin penguins who want to play in goal or play out for us.

I dont know what they have but here are 2 other New Zealand based sites you may be able to get something from.
He had organised to get a ride off me but something came up so he couldnt make it.

Just a note on the scheduling system. I have talked to Neil about this and they used to use one a few years back but had even more problems than what they currently have with the little black book.
I am willing to have a go at writing it in conjunction with others but i need to know more detailed specifications as to what they would like. And no that is not an invite to list it on this forum incase you were wondering.
Oh and Ryan i have done a little bit of research lately into the cost of web development and Chris’s guess would be about right it even might be a little low. And that is just for the initial set up not to mention the continious updating that you have done.

By the say stiff there is a chance the goalie cant make it so you will be the first to know.
