NZIHF rules do state Game Misconduct penalties in last 10 mins incur an additional game suspension – not sure why this was not enforced. As it was both same teams playing next night and there was no advantage either way, I assume this was why it wasnt enforced – but dont know

Andrew Bourne recovering from surgery, now out of hospital having broken his neck in the incident in photo below
And Jesse Trepanier was out at end of 1st of beginning of 2nd.
Havent seen the game sheet or had a report.

OK…. Ok…. theres lots more photos to come – but have had PC probs – managed to get the data off – so will process and upload this weekend…
I am not in Queenstown.. but its 0-0 end of 1st but Auckland have just had Jesse Trepanier ejected with 5 and game for checking from behind. So will be a challenge from here.
