Easton cup actaully vince is traditionally played over the easter period, I would consider myself to be reasonably well “with in the loop” and didnt find out much prior to talking to tom whos organising a team, fair enough to use existing teams that the way its been and it wasnt advertised om the DIHA website until around two weeks ago……..

[/quote:3fyr9rc4]What happened to the club email list, very little has been advertised this year through it, including the begineers DIHL, again althoguh many people wouldnt of played its always nice to know whats going on. Im sure you would have atttraced far more people, including a q.t and a potential southern u19 team if things had been more widely marketed.
If you look at teams this year in comparison to other years youll see there are alot smaller numbers……. I know several “central” players who were and are keen to plat that cant now becuase of the lack of the info…… not everyone has all day to check the DIHA website, which dont get me wrong is very good but realistically im not sure how many people actually wanting to know thigs would check it
Maybe if easton cup was advertsied more in advance like it has been in previous years you wouldve had attendances like a few years ago,

I thought it would have been a case of pay before you get on the ice? Correct me if im wrong graham? I can understand a once of oh shit forgot my money, can i play next week instead, that should be ok, but no repetitivly every week, surely that would mitigate your losses wouldnt it?

Im quite astonded to see the level of maturity displayed from some of the senior club members lke keith and a few others over the last few weeks, shame on you keith
I believe if you look into the OBHS vs KHS ice hockey altercation, youll note between two and threee game bans were recdommended from the DIHA, I know cause i got 3 games,
Im appalled to see the same player who was involved in two fights in the same game, and also a eye gouging incident aswell
If it had been one of the FYC team members im sure as shown in my above example much more serious discipline would have been handed down
