ryan, have you seen some of the “girls” who play hockey? i wouldnt be too keen to get in the mix!
As a ref, im not going to pull anyone up on a visor technicality unless someone complains, i couldnt give a rats ass, if they want to play without a cage then they can. as long as they are over 20 anyway. at 20  i reckon players are mature enough to think for themselves an decide whats good for the safety of their facial features

oh thats who you are. yea you copped him in the face when he bent down. i was right there, i thought it was funny coz it was all a misunderstanding but boy did it set the scence. shame you kicked our arses though!

mouthguards still suck, even if they are dentist fit. i still dont wear one even after i had my teeth broken twice! they do bugger all to stop you getting knocked out, realistically, the only thing they stop is teeth getting chipped when they clash together. crap things

ha compulsory mouthguards! that doesnt really get policed. now that is a rule that needs to be removed. mouthguards do next to nothing anyway. i never police that rule when im reffing. its absolute rubbish. oh and according to paul scott, the nzihl is non checking, or thats what he infers by the way he refs at least

back to kyles point, ive tried to get involved with the southern league before, when they expressly asked for players to come and give their inputs. do you know what happened? i just got ignored. what else can i do?

so, since its not hard to find out who you are, its probably not a good idea to rag on people with out being linguistically cunning. its just not that funny and we take exception to that sort of carry on, plus why dont you fight me?

lets just go kick his ass for talkin smack! but kyle, you cant really be serious about getting rid of that sort of fight (i refer to the video). and i realise you’re not actively seeking to rid the game of it but i doubt it would be a good idea.
i scarcely watch rugby anymore because its just not as brutal as it used to be, i much prefer league these days. not to say that i think league’s a better game because i dont, i just find it more exciting. if they brought back rucking it would make the game far more interesting to watch. the only problem is, is that the people who enjoy the feminising of brutal male sport, are the one in charge, and they impose their ideals on a community unwanting of them. the rules in sports are very seldom democratically decided, with respect to all stake holders in the sport. the reason this trend kyle speaks of may happen is not because the players want it to happen, it will be because it is forced unwillingly upon them by people who really have no idea of what the sport actually wants, and force it with ridiculous penalties like the 4 match suspension for fighting in the nzihl. i think it is a trversty and almost a breach of our human rights, what happened to the democracy we live in? it has all the bearings of Section 59, f*&k you Sue Bradford, you and people like you are ruining new zealand and ruining contact sports!
