im not a fan of the no break between periods. i need a rest and its good to have a team talk to correct the things that are going wrong. there is otherwise no chance to talk about things if you dont already have your head in the game and there no chance for the more experience people to give me advice on what i should be doing

active, im pretty sure finishing your career at 55 due to a knee problem isnt career shortening. il be stoked if im still playing when im 40. look at james vl! old son of a b*&ch, and hes only 35. then you are in a different league altogether, your from the old school, the steve jackson and larry wheeler generation of hearty mo fo’s n we cant really compete for longevity with you

Shit hes not having much luck there, he got it hurt in a warm up the day of the ice black test. knee isnt something you really want to hurt as that sort of thing can stop you playing. Is is all good now?

southern will win the juniors, they have a damn solid team. with aston in net and regan on defense they will be hard to score on. not to mention tom ‘the python’ wilson up front. if he does to the canterbury defense what he did to the stampede defense in dunedin then its all over red rover!

I see your idea now. thats a good option. mabe send the team to schools to talk in assemblies and hand out a few tickets there. i just want to avoid what Al did and give them away to everyone we know every game

kyle, the big problem with giving away tickets is that you devalue the game. if i can get a ticket for free, why would i buy one? or if i have to buy one when i used to get it for free, why would i go?

stuff flying up to watch! itl cost a fortune! plus itsnot hugely exciting as i dont really care who wins. if it was down here then sure id go watch but it still wont be exciting for at least 5 years,it needs some time for it to become a major event, if you know what i mean

kyle, in regards to an exhibition game, do you think we could get one set up for february/march next year? it could even be that contact league we are planning. send the info out to the schools, get them to come to the game. get sponsorship from a bus company to help bring them to the game. we may have to have one game during the school day. brilliant idea mr slowly! im sure the players would be keen for that.
or another thought would be having warm up games for the nzihl between thunder & stampede and having schools come to watch them? even travel to gore and get schools from around there to watch or alexandra? plenty of oppotunity to promote the sport in a cheap easy manner
