Yea lets be honest, too much hockey on Saturday still produces better games than hungover hockey on Sunday! Good format, but yes why are we playing people we can play whenever we want? surely Queenstown would prefer to play outsiders rather than the same old people they can play every week at social hockey?
Look, to be perfectly honest i don’t find it racist either, but i thought he was Maori and if i had called him a “darky” or something similar and was heard by the refs i could have got a penalty so i figured it was worth a shot. Not that i ever thought the ref would take it seriously! i figured he would have laughed at the fact im a ginger too?? i would have if i was the ref

Haha yea im one of those statistics, got my teeth smashed out within 2 months of going no cageHA! what were the circumstances surrounding the spitting incident? ie; who did he spit on and what for??? thats gross, i see he still hasnt reeled in his behavior since his racist comment a couple of years back!!

I know dunedin have 2 teams entered, what are the other clubs putting in?THe last rule book we looked at had no 5 minute major with a game misconduct. A match penalty DID have a 5 minute penalty. is this the case here or are our rules slightly different

The Thunder have now found form and will take that back to Auckland this weekend, will be two very tough hard fought games but the men from the south will prevail

Thunder have won 3 games albeit 2 in OT, which puts them above the Admirals 2 wins in regular time. That and the fact that the Admirals have a “Thunder of old” goal differential mean they are behnd in the standingsIm with aaron, i would really like to be playing hockey rather than just practicing. even if the level of the open grade isnt too high, its still game time through the season, this is something lacking at the moment and i think is detrimental to the southern league and ice hockey down here
