Acording to Daniel Alfredsson Ovechkin is the weak one he said when Ovechkin was Crosbys age he was way more of a pussy he said whenever Ovechkin got hit he would roll around on the ice like he had been shot and look at Crosby 19 years old and Meszaros cheap shots him and he lays on the ice for 4 seconds and gets back up.
thats the kind of hit that breaks player legs
Crosby is actually really strong he has a huge amount of lower body strength and is almost impossible to knock of the puck just because he does not hit much does not mean he is not strong.
It was a pretty sweet game though Thomas Vanek scoring on his knees in the first period and then Daniel Briere scoring with 10 seconds to go sending the game to OT.

How can you honestly say Afinigenov has more skill than Crosby i mean look at all of his amazing goals.

The man was playing with a broken foot !Also the pens will kill the Sabres next year they have so much young talent like Crosby, Stall, Malkin (even a good Russian), Whitney, Gonchar and perhaps even Christensin. The Pens rock ecspecaily Crosby he is way more skilled than any Russian player !!

I’m still not going to say that Ovechkin is more skilled than Crosby because he is not Crosby is he allways will be.
Now Briere, Ovechkin and Crosby were on the same line in the All-Star game Crosby got nothing, Ovechkin scored 1 goal and Briere scored 1 goal and got 4 assists and was voted MVP of the game are you saying Briere has more skill than Crosby and Ovechkin because he did well in the All Star game ? And rember Gretzky did not score in his first All-Star game either.

Ovechkins games is droping, he did not perform as well as he did last season and none of his goals were as nice.
Crosbys game as improved heaps 120 POINTS he won the scoring title at 19 he is the whole package he can pass and score.
Crosby has a better team than Ovechkin but who do you think makes the pens so good Crosby if he was not in the pens players like Malone would be having shit seasons with maybe 4 or 5 goals but they just finish on all of Crosby great plays. If you stuck Ovechkin in the pens he would probally be a bit better but still not as good as Crosby because of one main reason Ovechkin cant set people up and thats what a lot of the Penguins rely on. Ovechkin couldnt set Malone, Recchi or even Armstrong up like Crosby can thats why the Pens are so good.Just Another example of Crosby setting Malone up.

I’m not saying that Ovechkin can’t set other players up because he can he just can’t do it like Crosby can, Crosby has like a 6th sense when he is playing he always knows were his team is he seems to be able to send crisp pases to players without even looking for them.
Crosby also has better looking goals.
