devils win 9-5.  Eaden gets a hat trick.  Stampede win 8-4.  They get a final.  Well deserved.  Hopefully the trophy will head back to the south island.

Is it a coincidence that the oldest goalie in the league has the best stats (Swirtz) followed closely by the second oldest goalie.  Not saying anything but just saying.  Funny they have the same accent too.  Just sayin.

devils win 7-2.  3rd choice goalie did his job and didn’t lose it for the team.  Kyle Papai scored a hat trick and Ryan Bahl put in two.  Eaden is back tomorrow as is Findlay.  Doesn’t look good for the Admirals.

Best wishes go out to the Thunder! <img decoding=” title=”Smiley” />

….i can probably do a bit of work when i find time to interupt my laziness at the present moment.  might not be this week though.  Some red devils goalies did the dirty on me and left for kazakhstan for pro pastures and also decided suspension was cool.  So my dusty self has to prepare for some games this weekend.

So can we now talk about the people who have been putting in hours and hours of work for nz hockey for more altruistic reasons?  The people who were here before greasy promoters came and the ones who will be here after they leave?

Perhaps the knockers here could complain to the Sth African Rugby Union about the 2nd class side that they fielded against the allblacks in the weekend…. fraudulent based on your very high stds  .. perhaps you should also complain to the SFO, Commerce Commission and Fair Go….

    just sayin

Yet for some reason the tri-nations game was fully sanctioned, the teams had full permission to wear their national team colors, current professional players were on the roster….some of whom will be playing in the upcoming world cup.  And I don’t the South African Rugby Union promised anything in way of a full strength squad, in fact I think they quite publicly said many players were unavailable.  Oddly enough, they did have the appropriate amount of substitutes on the bench.  Just sayin

…due to an unforseen hair appointment, Theoren Fleury won’t be in the squad however he has been replaced by Kris Draper

Hopefully Keith will sign on as a technical advisor to make sure we do everything in the best interest of NZ ice hockey.

The Red Devils have just signed Theoren Fleury, Eric Brewer, Bill Ranford to a trial contract.  They should be in uniform for this weekends game.  We also have secured Pat Quinn as a coach and providing commentary will be Hall of Famer Don Cherry (not ball hockey hall of fame).  Puck drop at 445pm.

if I’m not mistaken, the website was handed over to Jez Brown or whatever his name is, in order to be rebuilt.  Either he is disinterested or he’s bitten off way more then he can chew.  Promised videos aren’t arriving and the website has set the league back in terms of marketing and image.

I think your idea is the way to go Ryan however the powers that be seem keen to put faith in those who have no track record of delivering but instead, talk a pretty good game.  Those who are keen and probably would deliver, are usually on the outside looking in.
