yeah “fixing” is pointless.  Just do what everyone does.  Cut off of the blade and flip it upside down and add a blade on that end.

still 0-0.  It’s a tough game.  A real goaltending duel!

Outside of an official nzihl game, it would be a joke.  Doesn’t have to be a final but it has to be official otherwise you won’t get the best players and you will get guys who have no business playing on a nzihl team padding numbers.

well I think the idea will die a horrible death due to apathy.  Status quo it is!

typhoon is a shaft as far as I know.  Is the shaft damaged?  if so, you could technically cut off the damaged bit (I don’t think that shaft was tapered) and make up the length by putting in a wooden extension at the grip end.  The flex will change slightly but I’m not sure you will know the difference <img decoding=” title=”Wink” />

Has Kyle said anything about Chris?  Kyle didn’t write the article.  He just posted a link for others to see.  Hockey article….hockey forum….kind of adds up to me.  Unless I’m missing something here.

we have no wow factor.  Atleast I don’t.  I’m boring but I try and stop the puck.  I’m probably not the reason we win games but I couldn’t care less about that.  Just don’t want to be the reason we lose games.

Hayley Wickenheiser did ok in one of the better divisions in Finland.  She was a pretty solidly built girl however.

I think if they are physically able to play, go for it.  If not, then they shouldn’t be allowed.  If you can’t protect yourself from normal contact, it’s too dangerous.  That goes for guys as well who can’t protect themselves.  Someone has to be able to make the call however.

If its cold, brown, bubbly and alcoholic, I think its ok.  Back in Canada a company called Sleemans makes a real nice cream ale.  It goes down a treat after a game.

The critical purpose of a body check is to either gain the puck or disturb the progress of a player.  Absolutely smashing someone is not required for those goals.  Bumping a female off the puck accomplishes the exact same thing as smashing her.  So why the need to smash?  The big hits between two players usually takes both out of the play temporarily anyways.  If a female signs up to play contact, I’m assuming she understands she will get hit.  Nature of the hit should be tempered.  Just like you wouldn’t hit a small player as hard as you would hit James vL

girls where playing in men’s contact league here.  Wasn’t the top division but still some decent players.  Angelique and Rachel used to play in it.  They did ok as far as the checking went.  Only problems I ever saw was some dirty old player taking a cheap shot (usually was the over 40 years old who liked their women in the kitchen and were offended that they had to play with girls set).  Aside from those idiots, most players respected their presence and didn’t try to take their heads off.

I do recall Bode absolutely leveling poor Harry last year too.  Nice hit.  Poor wee fella!

many teams in the nhl can’t fill a 20000 seat arena but put it outdoors and 80000 sells out.  Outdoor is a bigger draw then indoor.  Tekapo would have more than 80.  It also creates a buzz.  Non hockey people would hear about it.  It’s not just another game.
