Thunder did play better sunday. Especially the third period. There was a bit more pressure. Hopefully you can repeat your Auckland weekend when you play Southern. Give them a run.

MemberI can tell you where all the holes are. Problem is you putting the puck where it’s supposed to go! I’m a bum of a hockey player but I’m hinging on you being doing the Stefan King “oops lost an edge and fell on my butt” play anytime you are near the net.

MemberToby will get some time I imagine when he trains with the team. Hard to play a goalie who you haven’t seen this year!
I chose the Devils for both because I’m a Red Devil and I don’t ever like thinking I will lose a game before I play in it! I lose respect for any player at this level who doesn’t go in thinking they can and will win.

Member3 try victory for the devils on both games.

Member5 goals was not in reference to Stefan’s 5 shots on net. Stefan has a habit of shooting into me most occasions. I really appreciate it when he does.

MemberYou should also know that we won the 3rd place game and I also won $200 betting against the oldtimers in the final. Shame I let in enough goals for the other team to win

MemberYou’ll see me play this weekend. Just remember that scoring 5 on me doesn’t matter much if we put 7 on you! It will be like the Jets putting the hurt on you all last year!

MemberBig surprise that players blame refs! You would have to live under a rock to not know that. Some players have never opened a rule book. Does that negate the opinion of those who do know the rules? The quality of reffing is not of a high standard across NZ. Refs have good games and bad games. Different refs apply the rules differently. Players should be more aware of rules. They don’t have to be refs to do this though. Refs should also continue to improve, which I think most do. They should also accept that they make bad calls just like players make bad passes and goalies make bad saves or lack of saves. Personal accountibility covers players and refs.
First two games of last season was poorly officiated by the way. Wick is correct in saying that.

That’s not to shabby considering their games last year. The fact that they kept them scoreless in the first and were winning is a good sign. We’ll see how the second game goes today. Might have to watch out next week Vince!
[/quote:2tndny9c]Why aren’t you playing? 3 to 2 sounds a lot better than 7 to 3 with 65 shots!
I’m looking forward to a close game next weekend and a few Thunder wins at the expense of someone other than us.

Memberanyone have any details of the games? There was a game report about swarm/thunder but it sounded skewed in Swarms favour.
