I’d say start smaller and shoot for best team playing against Auckland on the 13th of june.  See what happens after that.

remember in the Mighty Ducks movie where they tied the chubby kid to the net cause he wouldn’t stay there on his own?  Perhaps something like that would buy you 3 hours?  At the very least, the minors could use another well trained goalie.

I didn’t get to see the whole game but suffice it to say that Pittsburgh has ruined my Detroit in 6 prediction.  Maybe Detroit are sick of winning Cups in other peoples barns?  I saw them a year and a half ago at Joe Louis and I’d be worried about any team going in there and trying to win a Cup off the Wings….and I don’t even like the Wings much.  Go Oilers (yeah I know they stink in the mid portion of every season)!!!

I’m looking forward to some competitive games however I don’t think you can look past the swarm as two time defending champs.  Line up mostly intact and their import is the step brother of our import.  I’m told he’s quality.  My money is on the swarm but I’m keen for a surprise.  It is a new year and I haven’t seen either team in their entirety so anytning can happen!

That kid was a bit weird, anyone who like Avril Lavinge generally is a bit different so thats cool. Marc, Vince is a campainer for Dennys, he dragged us there one night after a game in Christchurch last year. Man it was good, except for  the 3 hour wait on food.

It was a 20 minute wait for a table because of the popularity and only about 20 mins for the food to arrive for our table of 15.  It only felt like 3 hours because of the awesomeness of the food you were waiting for.  Grand Slam breakfast baby!

I don’t want to steal your thunder Aaron (haha I crack myself up) but I had a wander through here earlier and was going to put something up but decided not to.  Kinda like me being the first to the moon but not wanting to plant the canadian flag as to not disturb the scenery.  You however are the loud american with the pre-determined phrase ready!

If my nose didn’t bleed on the shot, no big deal Wick.  I’ve been giving up backhands since 1986!  My grandma once snuck a beachball behind me.  That lady had a wicked shot!  She made me cookies afterwards to stop my crying.

I’m in contact with some former Thunder team mates constantly, I was there last weekend, I was volunteering for the worlds.  I was even a member of the Thunder who played DIHL last year.  I play for the opposition now and I still took offence to what you said.  I’m sure a lot of the current Thunder players feel the same way.  I want a strong team in Dunedin and your comments injure that goal and spread false/negative information.

How does it benefit the club, save it, yet at the same time not affect it Wick? <img decoding=” title=”Wink” />

You must be new to the internet.

    This therefore is for you:

I don’t think its an internet question.  It’s someone who doesn’t want to name him/herself who claims to live in Dunedin and plays at the rink.  It’s not even a qtown kid.  Feel free to accept it but others aren’t obligated to follow the same path.  If someone said that to you in person at the rink and you were a stakeholder, would you walk away and not say a word?  This is pretty close.
