I still live in Canterbury however I am trying to buy a house in Dunedin. A number of factors led me stop playing hockey in Canterbury and join the Stampede. Other than the driving down bit, its been a good decision. I was just a fill in goalie for the Easton Cup. Originally it was supposed to be Andreas (Devils goalie). lol.
I’m happy to get whatever ice-time I can. I just don’t want to tick anyone off by taking time away from them or sand-bagging lower grades. Not saying I’m great or anything but it can sometimes be hard for lower level players to score.

Thanks. If I wasn’t so rusty, I might have been able to squeeze out a win. Probably wouldn’t have made a mistake on the first goal. Did someone hit me? I don’t remember. It was a bit chippy but also lots of chirping from everyone.

MemberThanks for not thinking we are all arseholes. Being the goalie, it was a bit frustrating playing with a drunk/hungover team but then again, we all knew going in that the guys were coming to Dunedin for a good time as opposed to a winning time. We ran into our fair share of idiots from other teams. The fight in the end being one of them. Good fun regardless. Thanks for the vids. I haven’t seen myself play since I was 8.
